HOW TO MEASURE FOR USABLE SHUTTERS

Below are a few of the typical ways shutters are mounted for usable purposes. One other method not shown is if you have a ledge that will allow shutters to "free stand" in the opening like a screen, then you don't need to hinge them to the window.
